Hi, I’m Dreama — a Williamsburg children’s photographer and mother with a deep love for preserving the fleeting beauty of childhood.
Years ago, I photographed hundreds of children throughout local preschools across Hampton Roads, and over time, I realized something special: the portraits parents treasured most weren’t always the perfectly posed smiles. They were the missing teeth, serious stares, scrunched noses, belly laughs, and quiet little expressions that reflected exactly who their child was in that season of life.
As someone who grew up with very few photographs of myself, preserving childhood has always felt deeply personal to me. These portraits are designed to celebrate personality, connection, and the little details parents never want to forget.
Simplicity portraits are offered only a few times throughout the year in my studio, creating a meaningful way to preserve childhood as it is right now.

STYLING YOUR SESSION
The beauty of these portraits is their simplicity, so clothing should feel thoughtful without being distracting.
Many families choose classic pieces in soft tones like white, light blue, blush, cream, or pale pink. Collared shirts, simple dresses, subtle textures, eyelet fabrics, knit pieces, and timeless silhouettes photograph beautifully.
If your child has a bold personality or a favorite outfit they absolutely love, that works too. These portraits are meant to feel true to them.
Accessories are always welcome and often help bring out your child’s personality.

What if my child is shy or doesn’t cooperate?
That’s completely okay. These portraits are designed to capture children as they are in this season, whether they’re playful, serious, shy, curious, or full of energy. I keep sessions lighthearted and low-pressure, and we almost always capture something beautiful.
How many images will I receive?
Each session includes 3 digital images of your choice. Additional images, full gallery upgrades, fine art prints, and tabletop frames will also be available for purchase.
Will my images be in color or black and white?
Your gallery will include both color and black and white versions of your portraits whenever appropriate.
When will I receive my images?
Your proof gallery will be delivered within approximately 1–2 weeks after your session.
CAN YOU TAKE A SIBLING PHOTO?
Yes! Each session stars with a sibling photo.
