What to Expect on Picture Day

Hi Parents! I'M SO GLAD YOU'RE HERE!

I am excited to have the opportunity to provide your school with fine art school portraits! My goal is to provide a better and more personal experience to all the families who attend the schools who have chosen me to photograph their children.

Unlike some of the chains you know about, your child will be able to be themselves in front of the camera. I won’t ask them to do any cheesy or awkward poses.

Hello! I’m Brielle, a motherhood and newborn photographer, and I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to work with your little ones. I absolutely love engaging with preschoolers and creating a fun, nurturing environment where they can feel comfortable and be themselves.

I believe that every child has a unique personality, and I take the time to connect with each one, ensuring they feel safe and excited during our time together. Whether it’s through playful interactions, creative activities, or simply listening to their stories, my goal is to make every child feel valued and heard.

As a parent myself, I understand how important it is to trust the people who spend time with your children. You can rest assured that I’m dedicated to providing a positive and caring experience for your preschoolers while capturing those precious moments that reflect their vibrant spirits.

Here are some of the ways that Picture Day with Williamsburg Heirloom is different!

NO UPFRONT COST

You will not need to pre-purchase photos, register, or fill out any order forms before Picture Day.

MULTIPLE EXPRESSIONS OF YOUR CHILD

I spend about 60 seconds with each child, and during that time take a variety of photos that capture your child’s unique personality. I’ll never ask children to say “cheese!” or force them into any unnatural poses. Instead, I simply let the kiddos be themselves, and the result will be genuine and artistic images that you will love!

EASY ORDERING
About 3 weeks after Picture Day, you will receive a private online gallery containing the best three images for each of your students in both color and black and white. From there, you will have the option to purchase individual prints, digital downloads, and discounted packages right out of your gallery.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

WHAT SHOULD MY CHILD WEAR?
Go for simple patterns or solid colored shirts that compliments your child’s eyes or features. Add small bows, necklaces, prescription glasses, or denim jackets to add layers.

WHY WASN’T MY CHILD PHOTOGRAPHED?

I will not photograph a child who cannot sit up on their own. This means not even with a Boppy, sitting chair or with a sibling. For most families this means by the next photo season be it Spring or Fall, you’ll get photos of a wonderful milestone (sitting).
Your child is really upset. At the end of the day, I want your child to build confidence around picture taking. While I do take extra time to sing, be silly or talk with an upset child, I will not push a distressed child to take a photo.
