Hi ya'll, I'm Dreama!

A Classic children's photographer in Hampton Roads, virginia.

I picked first picked up a camera over 10 years ago when I first became a mom. Driven by my own lack of childhood photos, I begin photographing every moment of my son’s little life.

With a love for beautiful light and timeless imagery, I feel incredibly blessed to help moms create a collection of images of their children to be cherished for years to come.

One of the comments I often hear my friends and clients say is that my simple, laid back approach to working with children makes things so easy!

I understand just how busy motherhood is, how fast milestones pass by and how we wish to hold onto every precious memory with our babies. My mission is to care for the every detail of portrait making process, to connect with children authentically, while creating beautiful artwork for your home – so that you can enjoy these memories now and for years to come.

My love for the beach is so strong! Just a month after getting married David and I bought our first 4×4 vehicle so that we could off-road on the beaches of the Outer Banks. If it’s summer, you bet we are finding a way to get down to the beach!

FRISCO

This big guy is a Golden Retriever, Great Pyrenees mix. Before Frisco we had a black Lab of 14 years, named Duke. It’s been really interesting learning about Frisco’s breed. He’s smart, will paw you to death, wants to be on top of you and is the size of a small pony.

What if I told you we could create a beautiful, full gallery of children's portraits in 15 minutes or less?

Hear me out. Children are often ready to be done 10 minutes into their session.

They don’t want to hang out at the studio for hours. My goal is always to get the most variety, in the shortest amount of time, and really to capitalize on everyone’s best behavior for the small window they are able to give me.

I can’t tell you how many children have ended their sessions with a, “That was easy!!” Meanwhile, I’m thinking, “That kiddo was so sweet. I know I have way too big of a gallery.”

Most sessions are done within 15, but I don’t want you to have to worry about timing at all. Trust that whether your session takes 15 minutes or 30, you’ll receive a full gallery of photos to choose from.
