At WHP we know that you want stunning portraits, in a stress-free environment. You want your portrait experience to not only result in beautiful artwork, but you want it to be enjoyable and engaging for your child. I’ve been photographing children and families for 10 years, and am an expert at creating a low stress, enjoyable experience so that your child can display their truest, most joyful self during their session.

Limited edition heirloom portrait events take place on select Saturday’s/Sunday’s throughout the year and are not available all-year-round.

Additional prints, digital images and framed artwork are purchased separately from your gallery once final proofs are complete. Additional images may be selected for editing for an additional fee. Heirloom Portrait Events are scheduled on select Saturday’s or Sunday’s in my Newport News based studio.

STYLING YOUR PORTRAIT

These traditional heirloom portraits are photographed on white backdrops, so you’ll want to choose a color that will blends well. Shades of white (preferred), cream, light blue and soft pink work best with this style pf portraiture. European styles, french hand sewn heirloom clothing, hand smocked bishop dresses or rompers, and christening gowns.

Terms & Conditions

CANCELLATIONS:
If a client wishes to cancel 14 days prior to their event, 50% of the fee will be refunded. Within 14 days of the event, the fee is non-refundable but is transferable. We ask our clients to contact us immediately and our team will be more than happy to work with you to reschedule your session.

SOCIAL SHARING:
Clients are more than welcome to take content during the session! We would love for you to tag us @dreamaspencephoto. We ask that unedited images from your proofing gallery are not shared on social media. Once you have received your edited images, we encourage sharing but please remember to tag us @dreamaspencephoto! Alterations to any images such as adding filters, is prohibited. If there is something you would like altered on your image, please let us know and we will do it for you!

CLIENT’S COOPORATION:
We aim to provide the best experience possible for you and your child! Our team has been successful in making everyone feel at ease and are capable of capturing every personality type! However, if we are unable to complete the session due to lack of cooperation, we will do our best to reschedule another sitting within the year. This is extremely rare and considerations will be given based on the circumstance.

ADD-ON SIBLING PORTRAIT SESSIONS:
Sibling shots are unfortunately never a guarantee. We love snapping a few sibling portraits if your crew is willing and able to cooperate. If you decide to book our Add-On: Sibling Portraits to your session(s) and at the day of your session your crew is not cooperating, we will simply issue a refund.
*Please note: ALL subjects in the sibling shot must be scheduled for individual sessions as well.
