STYLING YOUR PORTRAIT
These traditional heirloom portraits are photographed on white backdrops, so you’ll want to choose a color that will blends well. Shades of white (preferred), cream, light blue and soft pink work best with this style pf portraiture. European styles, french hand sewn heirloom clothing, hand smocked bishop dresses or rompers, and christening gowns.

WHAT AGE IS BEST FOR HEIRLOOMS?
My hard and fast rule is that your child must be able to sit independentaly. My favorite age to photograph is toddlers as close to their birthday as possible. Ideally older children are photographed before they’ve lost thier first tooth, but ive photographed children as old as 8 or 9.
Are siblings be included in the portraits?
Because these sessions are scheduled back-to-back, siblings cannot be included in the same session and will require their own dedicated time slot.
