One of my favorite things about Private Heirloom Events is that no two look exactly alike.
Some hosts welcome everyone with fresh coffee and warm cinnamon rolls.
Others set out mimosas, pastries, and flowers from the garden.
Some gather in a sun-filled living room while the children play between portraits.
Others partner with a favorite children’s boutique or local shop to create something truly memorable.
The gathering can be as simple or as festive as you please.
I’ll take care of the portraits.
You simply create the kind of morning everyone wishes happened more often.

Hostess Details
Private Heirloom Events may be held in your home, neighborhood clubhouse, church, children’s boutique, school, or another thoughtfully chosen gathering space.
You don’t need a magazine-worthy home—just a welcoming space with enough room for the portrait setup. Before your event, I’ll help you determine that your location is a great fit, so you can feel confident knowing every detail has been thoughtfully planned.
Opening your home—or bringing together the people you love—is such a generous gift. As my way of saying thank you, the host receives a complimentary heirloom portrait sitting for one child once the event minimum has been met.
Artwork and digital portraits may be selected separately following the session.
Hosting Is as Easy as One, Two, Three
1. Choose a Date
Choose a morning that works for your group, and I’ll take care of the rest.
Once we’ve selected a date, I’ll create a custom booking page for your event that you can simply share with your guests. They choose their own portrait time, complete their booking online, and I’ll keep everything organized behind the scenes.
You bring the guests. I’ll handle the details.
2. Gather Your Guests
This is the fun part!
Gather 8–10 children, whether they’re cousins, neighborhood friends, church families, homeschool friends, or your favorite moms from the group chat.
3. Enjoy the Morning
On event day, I’ll transform your home, clubhouse, boutique, or chosen gathering space into a beautiful heirloom portrait studio.
While each child takes their turn in front of the camera, everyone else gets to relax, visit, and enjoy the morning together.
A few weeks later, each family receives their private gallery to choose the portraits they’ll treasure for generations.

Where can an event be held?
Private Heirloom Events are available throughout Virginia for gatherings of 8–10 children, including Northern Virginia, Charlottesville, Richmond, Williamsburg, Virginia Beach, Roanoke, and the communities in between.
What does each participating family pay?
Each family reserves and pays for its own portrait session through your private event booking page. Sessions are $395 for the first child and $295 for each additional child, with digital portraits and finished artwork available separately.
Before booking, your guests will receive complete details about the experience, wardrobe, pricing, and artwork so there are no surprises.
How many children are needed?
Private Heirloom Events are designed for groups of 8–10 children. They may be cousins, neighbors, preschool classmates, church friends, or simply the little ones whose mamas are already in your favorite group chat.
Each participating child reserves an individual portrait time through your private event booking page.
What does the hostess receive?
As a thank-you for gathering everyone together, the hostess receives a complimentary heirloom portrait session for one child once the event minimum has been met.
The complimentary session covers the child’s portrait sitting.
Finished artwork and digital portraits may be selected separately following the session.
How long does the event last?
Most Private Heirloom Events last approximately three to four hours, depending on the number of participating children.
Each child receives a reserved portrait time, allowing the morning to move along comfortably while families visit, children play, and everyone enjoys the gathering without feeling rushed.
What happens if fewer than eight children book?
Your event date is officially confirmed once the minimum of eight children has been met.
If fewer than eight children reserve their portrait times by the booking deadline, we can discuss extending the invitation, choosing a new date, or exploring another option that works well for your group.
