Unschooled Portraits is a traveling portrait studio offering personality-driven school and childhood portraits for preschools, co-ops, dance studios, private schools, and local organizations for families who want something a little more honest, expressive, and timeless.
Designed to feel easy for parents and natural for children, these portraits celebrate the personality, emotion, and fleeting details that make this season of childhood theirs.

These short portrait sessions are designed to feel easy for parents, simple for organizations, and genuinely meaningful for families.

What I Handle
• Create a custom booking webpage for your event
• Build the schedule and manage sign-ups
• Provide ready-to-use marketing graphics and copy
• Send all booking and follow-up emails to families
• Photograph and deliver galleries to parents directly
• Donate back a portion of event proceeds to your organization

• A location for the event

Due to my busy work schedule, I can only offer these events in the months of January, February, March, and April.

What if my child is shy or doesn’t cooperate?
That’s completely okay. These portraits are designed to capture children as they are in this season, whether they’re playful, serious, shy, curious, or full of energy. I keep sessions lighthearted and low-pressure, and we almost always capture something beautiful.
How many images will I receive?
Each session includes 3 digital images of your choice. Additional images, full gallery upgrades, fine art prints, and tabletop frames will also be available for purchase.
Will my images be in color or black and white?
Your gallery will include both color and black and white versions of your portraits whenever appropriate.
When will I receive my images?
Your proof gallery will be delivered within approximately 1–2 weeks after your session.
CAN YOU TAKE A SIBLING PHOTO?
Yes! Each session stars with a sibling photo.
